Being a professional he can't demand the money paid as stipend, you can lodge a complaint against the professional with the ICAI by submitting the details of the stipend paid by him and the amount what he demands.
He will be punished under professional misconduct by the Institute.

In my view these matters should be sorted out by mutual concent. Try to convince him with your issues. The discussion will definitely lead to some positive conclusion.

Amit sir,please tell me does he have the power to do so. and moreover he has inserted this clause of refund of stipend with retrospective effect.Can such clauses be made applicable retrospectively?

Mr. Sunil,are u sure this comes under"Professional misconduct"?I don't think that the Institute will entertain any such issue as it simply says that we will not interfere with any issues between the principal and the article.Please tell

That is why I am insisting to opt for mutual discussion. Further, this doesn't comes under any clauses of the Professional Misconduct under CA Act.
