06 April 2013 SIR/MADAM
MY NAME IS VIJAY GR 1 COMPLETED .I JOINED ARTICLESHIP IN FEB 2013 AND SENT FORM NO 103 TO CHENNAI CHAPTER ON 11-2-13 BUT WRONGLY TAKING DEMAND DRAFT PAYABLE AT NEW DELHI IN FAVOR OF SECRETARY .TODAY(6-4-13) I GOT A LETTER FROM ICAI REQUIRING ME TO AGAIN SEND A DEMAND DRAFT OF RS 2000 PAYABLE AT CHENNAI.NOW I HAVE TWO CONFUSING DOUBTS
1.WHETHER MY ARTICLESHIP REGISTRATION IS DONE OR NOT
2.WHETHER TO TAKE DEMAND DRAFT (NEW ONE) WITH THE DATE OF 11-2-13 ie..,THE INITIAL DATE WHICH IS THERE IN FORM 103 OR TO TAKE DEMAND DRAFT WITH A WHOLE NEW DATE WITH APRIL DATE.
THEY DIDNOT MENTION ANYTHING IN THE LETTER ABOUT ARTICLESHIP REGISTRATION ONLY ASKED ME TO SEND FRESH DEMAND DRAFT ALONG WITH THE LETTER

06 April 2013 Now you has to take new DD, payable at chennai with latest date. And taking of DD with old date is not possible. So don't worry about that now draw a new dd with the April date payable at chennai and send it to the Chennai Institute with referring of the letter received from ICAI,Chennai. And you are articleship commencement date shall be consider from the date of Feb'13 i.e which date you mentioned in your form 103 and no need to send form 103 again or not required to make any corrections in form 103.

Just now take a new DD Payable at Chennai and send it by writing a letter with reference to the letter received by you from ICAI.

If the ICAI send back to you the Old DD then you can cancel that.
