Articles Termination

16 November 2016            I was registered as articles assistant under a chartered accountant on 21st feb 2016  in Hyderabad. Timings in my office is so simple morning it is 9.30 good but when we will go to home is unknown it may be 9,10,12 . It is  not a single day task it is going on every day. And one more thing, he always thinks in a different manner and applies all his thoughts on us. He don't give holidays for public holidays and festivals. During unhealthy conditions also he forced us to come to office. He treats us like his servant and he says that 24hrs of a day are not mine this 24hrs belongs to him.  We don't know how Sunday are coming and going.These are only few of the major problems faced in my articles period, there are so many issues in office.Till now I have taken 5 or 6 Sundays as holiday.                Finally, I wanted to take termination but he is not willing to sign in my form 109. I leaved the office on 6th sep but till now I unable to get terminatio.               So what I have to do know. Please give me reply because your single reply save my life and studies

19 November 2016 If whatever you have mentioned is true, then it is very unfortunate for being treated in such a manner. Before, you proceed on any matter against your Principal, make sure you have proper evidence / backing for carrying out work even on Sunday / Festival days etc.

You may have to write a letter to the Decentralised Office of your region and bring to light the issues faced by you. While drafting the letter don't make any personalised attack or abuse against your Principal. You can also have the same letter addressed to the Secretary, ICAI New Delhi.
