23 July 2013 I am a direct entry student and I am about to complete Iit training in a week . I need to join article ship and complete it before may to give the may exams . I have not yet submitted the documents for article ship . As i know that only after completion of Itt I can apply for article ship .So how much time I have in hand to submit the documents and also can I join articleship while the institute is processing with my documents or I have to wait for their approval ,Also I m a working partner in a firm is it important to furnish all the details for article ship or what is the procedure to apply then . Is it so if you are a working partner you cannot join articleship or else I have to retire as partner and then apply .

23 July 2013 1)Yes,you need to start article ship before 31.07.2012 means dated which is mentioned in form 103 should be before 31.07.2013 so that it can be completed 9 months before may 2014 exam so that you cannot loose the attempt

2)yes,if you are working partner you may not get permission for articleship..

So better retire from partnership and also dont provide any details regarding your partnership details to icai..
