Arrear demand treated as intimation u/s 245 of income tax

29 March 2012 I have already filled a return file and paid total income tax for the A.Y.2008-2009 but cpc intimation me for extra rs.6000/- .


how to rectify it?
and what is u/s 154 in this regard?

29 March 2012 You can file rectification of mistake application online in case of your efiling of return.you have to login at incometax efiling website.Then go to myaccount/rectification/file new application.

If you have committed mistake in filling ITR or there has mistake on part of Income tax department in precessing the ITR you can choose the option accordingly.
