04 December 2007 I m a CS, I have also appeared for my PE-2
2nd group this november(i cleared my 1st group in may.07) my CA FINAL will be due after 2 and 1/2 yrs. by the time i want to pursue a course not a long term course but of a duration of 2 yrs or less. so please suggest me a course as in future i want to work as a CA.

IF YOU PURSUE A CAREER OF C.A AND C.S,
I FEEL LL.B WILL SUPPLEMENT AND BE OF MUCH USE.( EVENING COURSE OR CORRESPONDENCE COURSE IF YOU ARE EMPLOYED).
BUT WORK AS C.A CAN ALSO MEAN, YOU MAY PRACTICE , IF NOT TO BE EMPLOYED.
IN THAT CASE, YOU MAY OPT FOR A DIPLOMA IN TAXES-DIRECT /INDIRECT TO SHARPEN YOUR PRACTICING SKILLS.
A DIFFERENT CUP OF TEA IS ALSO AVAILABLE LIKE SAY OPT FOR ERP Career LIKE ORACLE /SAP ETC... IF YOU JOIN SIEMENS ETC.. THEY OFFER RECOGNISED, ACCREDITED COURSE and EVEN make a VERY DECENT JOB OFFER, AS YOU ARE ALRADY C. S AND PARTLY C.A.
decide what you want to be in next 5 years? in practice or job? that will answer all issues . the above are only a few options available.

other than theses - Master in Business Laws [MBL] from National law school is a great option.
You can get a world class degree from world class school[through distance mode]
2 years required & it is equivalant to masters in law

04 December 2007 Read and Update more on Taxation and Finance. Instead of any other course best is to sit and read and develop some more material or writeups. I am sorry but if you give time on other couse then CA will suffer. After CA you may think of any other course.
