23 October 2010 Sir, Can anyone guide me the practical step for voluntary winding up of a pvt company and on how and who should be appointed as liquidator?
I have to handle a winding up and need proper guidance.

23 October 2010 you can refer Sec.484 for voluntary winding up and Sec.448 for appointment of liquidator. if you not able to understand, please let us know.

Based on section 448, i want to know that it talks about official liquidator. Now, can a practising CA or CS be appointed as liquidator?

If yes, what is the role of official liquidator at KG. Marg, delhi?
