Is appointment of first auditor for OPC & filing ADT 1 mandatory?

Yes, it is mandatory for companies in India to file the ADT-1 Form for the appointment of their first auditor. As per Section 139 of the Companies Act 2013, every company must appoint an auditor within 30 days of its incorporation.
