applying Pan card

04 December 2008 what is the procedure for changing the name for Applying pan card.., For my brother in law she
joined her husband name after her marriage ,& she gave her name for her company & ESI,PF etc
now she want to take pan card bit in her educational certificate r in her old itself .,ID Proof is the Problem.. Pls guied me in this Query....

04 December 2008 Employer can also issue a residence proof certificate.

04 December 2008 Hi,
She have to make change in her name of existing bank a/c or open a new bank account with her new name for ID proof she will have to give the Marriage Cert. Once new bank account is opened or changes made in existing Bank a/c then she can submit the photocopy of Bank pass book/statement as ID proof to Income Tax Dept. for the chnages/correction in PAN

Please note that i have done the same in my one of client's case.
