Application in form 10a & 10g simultaneously ?

28 November 2011 Hello everyone,

i have got one client (trust). i have to get it registered under section 12AA & 80G.

i have downloaded form 10A & 10G for the same.

i made an enquiry in the income tax department and inspector said that we can apply for registration under section 12AA & 80G simultaneously. But in form 80G it is mentioned that it should be accompanied by - Copy of registration granted under section 12A or copy of notification issued under section 10(23) or section 10(23C)

1. plz. let me know whether we can apply for registration u/s. 80G & 12AA simultaneoulsy or not and

2. if anyone have completely filled above forms then please mail it to my email id. it will be of great help to me.

29 November 2011 Since you will have to produce the regn certificate under 12AA you can apply for 80G only after getting recognition as a charitable trust. This is the departmental practice for years, to my knowledge.
