Application for Renwal under Section 80G(5)

16 June 2010 I want to file an application for Renwal of Exemption Certificate under section 80G(5), i know what are the documents to be filed but i don't know what is the pocedure, and what is the order of documents to be filed and in how many copy is to be filed?

16 June 2010 You have to file the following:

If it is a new trust/society:

1. Copy of Trust Deed - 3 copies
2. Form 10 A, if already not registered under section 12A/12AA in triplicate
3. Form 10G in triplicate.
4. List of lates Trustees/Office bearers with full postal address.
5. Report on the activities of the Trust.

If it is an old Trust:

Include the following:

1. Copy of the Audit Report and statement of accounts for the past three years.
2. Ack. of having filed IT Returns for the last three years.
3. Activity report for three years.
4. List of office bearers for three years.

Pl file power of attorney from the Trust so that you will receive the notice of hearing from the CIT of the Range.
