If school is selling study material to his studunt, is school is liable to obtain VAT registration number?

BOOKS ARE ITSELF TAX FREE BUT WHERE AS THE APPLICABLITY OF VAT ON SCHOOL IS CONCERN AS SSON AS THE DEALER CROSSES THE TAXABLE SLAB LAID BY THE STATE GOVT NON MATTER THAT THE GOODS ARE TAXABLE OR TAX FREE THE DEALER HAS TO GET HIMSELF REGISTERED UNDER VAT ACT.
