Applicability of tax deduction on while purchasng of Bonds

07 January 2011 we have RPF trust, We are investing funds in to various institutions, my question is while we are purchasing bonds/shares we are paying accrued interest to the concerned agent or some party , wether that interest is subject to deduction under 193 or 194A? can you clarifiy any one , uegent .

09 January 2011 Yes u/s193 applicable for securities/ debentures Pl c section for details. For other than interest on securities 194A will be applicable

18 January 2011 Actully i want it know Reimbursement of Interest on Bonds or Securities is subject to deduction of Tax

Eg: if we purchased securities from "xyz" lets take interest period will be July to Dec. If i purchase from "xyz" on oct , ihave to reimbuse interest for Jul to sep to Xyz. is that taxable u/s 193 or 194A
