02 January 2020 Hi, one of our client is a service provider to the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, it provides more than Rs 50 crores worth services every year to these Governments. It did not have any other income, other than the business income from rendering such services to the Governments. Now, the query is whether the provisions of section 269SU would apply to that company??. Means it has to provide the facility of RuPay Card, UPI modes ??
Please let me know your views..

02 January 2020 Yes, it is mandatory to provide the payment facilities as per the Section 269SU as the turnover exceeds Rs 50 crore, irrespective of whether the services being provided to one client or more. Non-compliance shall lead to penalty.
