10 October 2024 my friend applied for duplicate PAN CARD as his pan card was lost somewhere.then he came to know that one more card was issued in his name. how to cancell another card.the card which he usages has linked with aadhaar.

10 October 2024 He should have applied for reprint of the PAN card with the existing PAN no.
Surrender the duplicate PAN card at earliest.

10 October 2024 You can apply for surrender of PAN card online by following the below process:

Fill and submit the the ‘Changes or Correction in existing PAN data/ Reprint of PAN card’ application on the the NSDL website.
Under the contact details in the PAN card correction form, select the check box in the left margin and mention additional PANs that you want to surrender/cancel.
Upload the required documents, pay the fees and submit the form.
An acknowledgement slip will be generated on successful payment.
