my assessee has change the name of public limited co. how to get therese ammendment in excise registration through online process (as all the return is being fillied online). and to get ammended reg certificate from the department. kindly suguest.

The excise registration is given for the manufacturing/dealer premises and for the Name of the company/firm. if anyone of them changes also you have to surrender the old registraion and should get the new registration with new ECC No (PAN Based ECC)
