27 January 2012 Earlier I have allotted the shares with the face value of Rs 10/- each .Now I want to allot the share with the face value of Rs.100/- per share . what is the procedure for allotment of share when the company is a Private Company.

27 January 2012 As per my view, u can not allot the same kind of shares with different Face value....

You can allot the shares having different rights as to voting, Dividend but not with different face Value.

27 January 2012 You need to go for consolidation of face value u/s 95 of the Companies Act 1956. Covert face value of Rs. 10/- into Rs. 100/- each.
