If any Individual person have earned agriculture income over and above Rs. 30 Laks in the state of Uttar Pradesh of India will liable to taxed in India under Income tax Act or will have to maintain any specific books of accounting for the same or will liable to maintains books of account under section 44AB

Pls. suggest

17 September 2013 Books of accounts are required to be maintained if an assessee has a business income. As you have only agricultural income and no business income, you need not maintain any books of accounts u/s 44AB. However, it is recommended that you maintain some proof of your agricultural earnings.
