Agricultural land in India BY NRI.

Assessee is a women assessee and Non resident.Her father is farmer and resident of India.Can she ( Women assesseee) purchase agricultural land in India in her name.Whether any special farmalities required to be completed for this purpose.(viz permission from RBI etc.)

Purchase of any immovable properties by a person and or an assesee not resident in India requires the compliance of FEMA regulations and RBI permission, for details refer to the relevent sections of FEMA and RBI as to the immovable properties...
