Can notice for annual general meeting of private limited company be issued before the date of approval of financials by directors?

Let me clear the situation:
Date of issue of notice for AGM 20th July 2019 informing AGM date to be 17th August 2019.
Date of Approval of financials by directors 1st Augut 2019.
Hope every thing is in order.

As per the provisions of the Comapnies Act 2013 Notice of the AGM should be sent before 21 dat of the date of AGM along with the Finanacial.THE AGM can be called with Shorter Notice with the consent of all the members entitled to vote at the meeting. In your case as your comapy is a Private Limited it will be advisable to take consent for the calling the AGM at shorter Notice and send Notice of the AGM with Financial.
