Advice for Career required

10 October 2009 Hi, I am a MBA (Finance) grad. Although i have a job in a public ltd co. But i have this uncertainty and a little fear about doing job in private sector. Please help with some advice.
Also,what are the possible avenues for a MBA in public sector, except for Civil services and other general exams?
Hoping for a sound advice.

11 October 2009 It is immaterial that you are in public sector or private sector. You have to work properly then only the employer will allow you to stay in the job.

If still you feel you prefer only public sector undertakings, one method is you should join them as a industrial trainee and best performed trainee will be absorbed.

Otherwise you have to do IAS or IRS to get a good job in public sector undertakings.

11 October 2009 In my view if a person wants to sustain himself in the public sector then i think he can do IAS because MBA( Finance) would not be sufficient.
