04 April 2013 As per the provision of section 209 of the Income Tax Act 1961, every assessee need to deposit advance tax as per the percentage specified after deducting the TDS if any.

In case of salaried employee if the appropriate TDS has been duly deducted and deposited then no need to deposit advance tax.
