27 March 2012 While filling an advance tax challan the PAN has been wrongly quoted by which the corresponding amount is reflected as under unmatched category in the name of the assessee now how to deal with this type of problem as this case is more than 6 months old and the assessee is not getting the full credit in his PAN.

27 March 2012 It is my advise that take a copy of the paid challan to the concern ITO or the AO as the case may be and ask him to rectify the mistake. The AO has full power to do the rectification and your problem will be sorted out.
