Advance license closure -ep copy issue-

12 January 2015 We are a small manufacturers and had being doing business with different merchant exporters, we regulary use the advance license to import raw material and later export goods

One of our merchant exporter issued a CT1 and cleared the goods with out paying excsie duty payment
Then the exporter exported the goods against our advance license , the ep copy read us as supporting manufacture and our advance license number is mentioned in the EP Copy

The oblgiation of exports agaist the advance license are met hence we are preparing the closure of the advance licnese
The problem is that the merchant exports is not ready to hand out the original EP copy of the shipment to us as they need it to close the CT1 they are ready to give us the photocopy of the EP copy
Can any one take a few minutes and guide us “How can we close the advance licnese ?”, can we claim the EP copy ?

Your guidelines shall be helpful in approaching the Exporter with the request

16 January 2015 Although the EP COPY is mandatory for Redemption Purpose.

in my personal please write the situation and case submit in PRC COMMITTEE IN DGFT, HEADQUARTER MAY BE POSSIBLE THE COMMITTEE WILL RELAXATION IN THIS MATTER.

we approached the exporter to get a certificate issued from the C Ex. stating that the Exporter had submitted the EP copy in originals and C Ex inability to release the same .
the motive was that the certificate stands testimony and can be presented by us during the PRC committee, but strangely The dept released the documents and hence is in our possession

2 step are for you:

First File RTI in excise For the matter.
Second File RTI Letter for the Genuineness from the customs (IF NOT TO GENERATE DUPLICATE COPY FROM CUSTOM)
