client was shifted his place of business & when i approach to officer with letter & proof for changes advice me to file online first when i come to fill up online form st-1 there is no column to put old registration no. now,if i submit then new no.alloted or what

If you have already register online then you have to log on to : aces.gov.in
- click service tax
- log on
- go to REG
- Amend Registration
- Fill up form with correct and amended information
-submit
-take print
-submit print to department with proof of changes and attest each paper by authorized person.
If you are not already online registered than obtain Form - A for online registration and submit it with your valid email ID and submit it to department you will get user ID and password and follow up above mentioned procedure.
