Weather the additional Dep. @ 20% is applicable on the purchase of new plant & machinery, amounting 12 lakh for the A. Y. 2017-18, for the partnership firm

Addditional Depreciation is allowed based on Business engaged by the assessee , ie (for for manufacture or production of any artile of thing) the constition of Assessee is irrerelevant. So Firm engaged in production can claim addition dep for new Plant & machinery
