can u plz tell me about any circular or judgement relating to it that why additional depreciation can not be claimed when asset is acquired prior to 01.04.05 but put to use after 01.04.05?

replied to your earlier query.
You can not claim the additional depreciation. There is one condition that the asset should be acquired & installed on or after 31.03.2005. The word "and" means both the things should happen in the same year.
