acknowledgement of efiled return

one of our client had filed it return in nove 08 for ay 08-09 electronically without digital signature.
he did not get it acknowledged from the department. i think he should have acknowledged it before 15 days of filing the return. is their any remedy ?

yes, he has to deposit ITRV with department with in 15 days of filing the return.
but till date, there is no problem because he can deposit the same up to 31 st march 2009 in case of asst year 2008-09. because in case ITRv is not deposited with in 15 days, then the rate of depositing it is trated as date of filling the return

you can get it acknowledged from the relevant it ward.
