What is meant by an Accounting Manual?
Who would use it?
Can a CA sign the A.Manual?

11 June 2013 An accounting Manual would consist of Accounting policies and procedures. The users of Finance and Accounts department would use the manual

There is no requirement to sign a Manual.

A manual that contains pertinent accounting rules and other information for a business or organization. Accounting manuals can contain guidelines for various policies and procedures

The classification of the various types of accounts used by a company or organization is frequently referred to as a chart. This chart is also usually included in an accounting manual. These manuals will differ from one organization to another depending on the type and size of the organization

2)Company will frame a accounting manual and accountants and other (auditors,accounts department) who want to know about and want guidence on company rules can refer this accounting manual

and accounting manual will also contains how to do accounting in accounting softare used by company by providing guidence to accounts executives using snap shots of a/c softwares

3)i am not aware of any signatures of CA in accounting manual. and i didnt found any signatures on accounting manuals
However this accounting manual can be approved by chief of accounts department.
