Accounting entry of sales quantity

26 March 2010 We purchase materials in boxes consisting of 100 units. Then we sell them in boxes as well as in units.
My problem is regarding entry of sales quantiity when we sell materials in units. We have Tally ERP 9 software. When we enter a sale of 10 units, it shows a sale of 10 boxes. Can anybody tell me what is to be done to record the sale in units as well as in boxes.
Please ans. as it is very urgent.

26 March 2010 Pl go to stock item in the Inventory info and check the concerned item's basic data as fed change it to suit your needs.

26 March 2010 that's not possible you create only one as units box or units both are not possible for same thing

27 March 2010 Open Stock Items Alteration under Units enter Boxes in alternate units enter Nos when "where" will appear there enter one box = 100 pcs try this If it does not work contact tally solutions online
