SIR,
I HAD RECEIVED A NOTICE WHICH IS U/S 139 (9) DEFECTIVE RETURN , SO I HAD RESPONSE THAT NOTICE (I HAD NOT MAINTAINED THE ACCOUNT SO THAT NOT GIVEN PROFIT & LOSS A/C AND BALANCE SHEET) AND I FILL UP THE RETURN IN ITR-4 COLOUM 53 WHICH IS 44AD AND NON ACCOUNTS MAINTAINED
SIR THERE WAS IN RETURN SOME REFUND ALSO , SO PLEASE HELP IS THAT CORRECT RESPONSE OR NOT , AND PLEASE TELL ME

it is not clear whether the defective return status is due to non filing of finanacial statements?
