Difference between share holder and Inverter both are co owners how they are different?

There may be difference in rights. It is not necessary for an investor to invest in company through equity participation. He may invest through various other ways.
If he is not a shareholder he may not get rights of a shareholder.
So a shareholder is compulsorily an investor but an investor may not be shareholder.
