i am going on start manufaturing unit so please advise me excise registration is mandetory and also tell about registraion

Dear Mr. Bipin Jha,
1. Excise Duty is applicable for Manufacturers,
2. But, you can claim exemption upto Rs.1,50,00,000, if you have a Small Scale Industry Registration
3. Before tell yes or no, we need to ask so many input from you, what kind customers you supply, (end user or other manufacturers ) etc.,
4. Pls, consult any Chartered Accountant or Tax Consultant or Advocates or Company Secretary or Cost Accountant in your area
