About itr for a.y 2018-19

08 February 2018 Sir, My friend is an employee a pvt company. His salary is Rs. 12,500 /- p.m. He is receiving his salary in hand by cash, no ESI or PF deducting from this. His salary is non-taxable but he wants to make a IT file by showing his salary. But he has no proof of his salary like Form 16 or Bank statement or pf slip or anything else. So my query is -

1). Will he shows his income in ITR - 1 as income from other sources head?
2). If not then how to show this.
3). He deposites Rs.2,000 p.m in PPF account i.e Rs. 24,000 /- - will it also shows in ITR in which column?

Please guide me anyone.

Thanks for your answer. But if dept will demand any salary proof in future then. His comapny will not give this documents.

08 February 2018 Dipankar - Does your friend does not have the offer letter from the Company. That can also be a proof of job. Otherwise, he can show the income as earned from other sources. PPF deduction can be taken.
