17 April 2017 IF A DEALER/ASSESSEE HOLDING BOTH THE REGISTRATION NUMBERS I.E. WITH SERVICE TAX AND MVAT/CST. BUT IS IT NECESSARY TO DO THE GST ENROLLMENT FOR BOTH THE NUMBERS. I.E.WITH BOTH THE TAX PAYING AUTHORITIES.?

17 April 2017 The provisional id issued by both the authorities will be same. So after obtaining provisional id from any of the authority (which in same in both the cases) you have to complete the enrolment process on the GST portal.

18 April 2017 Gst registration is required to be done only once. No need to enroll twice.
