30 June 2013 i want to know about new rule of GMCS, i am aware that there are two GMCS as per new rule
1st GMCS within 1 year of completion of articleship,if any student failed to do so (i.e. not complete the GMCS within stipulaed time) what will be the impact???

30 June 2013 icai notified student should complete GMCS-1 with in one year but not said about what if not able to complete?

icai may not take any hard actions on student because icai knows very well that many students are unable to complete it due to lack of seat availability..

But it is recommended to complete asap as per icai rules

12 November 2013 (i) GMCS-I (15 days) : during 1st year of articled training
(ii) GMCS-II (15 days) : after completion of 18 months of training but before completion of articled training

In view of the above decision, it is hereby informed that GMCS-I & II Course shall be implemented in respect of those students, who have registered for articled training on or after 1st May, 2012.

Students, who have registered for articled training prior to 1st May, 2012 shall be governed by the existing GMCS curriculum.
