Kindly tell me the requirement of CPE Hours for newly enrolled members in October 2014 of the ICAI. I have been enrolled as ACA in Oct. 2014. Whether I'll be required to complete minimum 30 hours before 31/12/2014 like other members.

18 December 2014 01. The CPE hours are to be calculated on calender year basis

02. The good news for you is, first year i.e. 2014, you need not complete ANY CPE hours. Exemption is granted generally.

03. From 2015, start atending the CPE hours programme.
