80DDB OF INCOME TAX

Sir i am suffering from heart disease and i have to take medicines on daily basis which costs Rs. 35000 per year. can i claim under 80DDB. I AM A GOVT EMPLOYEE

The heart disease is not included under the list of diseases allowed for deduction u/s. 80DDB of IT act. Check any other deficiency you may be suffering from, which are allowed under the section, so that you can get certificate from concerned MD doctor.
