LIC premium FOR PARENTS ARE NOT CONSIDERED IN SEC 80C

Contribution in the case of an individual, for himself, spouse or any child is eligible in 80C. LIC Premium of Mother is not considered in 80C.

LIC premium paid for mother will not be eligible for exemption since LIC prepremium paid either for himself or spouse and children of family will be eligible for deduction.
