59 marks in ca final

Is ICAI deliberately give 59 marks or student actually score 59. Also, will icai grant me exemption if I score less than 10 marks in other 3 subjects of group?

There is nothing like deliberate attempt to scuttle your marks, as you write the examiner awards you how much ever you score. To obtain exemption the criteria is attempting all the papers in that group and scoring in any paper(s) in excess of 60 marks, even if you fail or get Zero marks you are entitled for exemption.
