05 September 2013 Section 372A covers investments made in security of other body corporate.

i want to know whether trading done in Future and Options is also covered u/s 372A. if yes, how do we make entries in register maintained u/s 372A because in F&O margin fluctuates on a daily basis.

05 September 2013 This are Important condition for 371A-

1.60% of its paid-up share capital and free reserves or

2. 100% of its free reserves.

Normally, this limit is not surpassing.

Also Company whose principal business is the acquisition of shares, stock, debentures or other securities are excempt from this section.

Trading in Future and options comes under definition or not and if yes, how do we make entries in register as margins fluctuates on a daily basis.
