If the director resign during the year (means before 31st March) do he need to file declaration under 274(1)(g).

02 August 2011 The director who is being appointed is required to file declaration under section 274(1)(g) and not the retiring director.

But the person has been director during the year and february 2011 he resigned was he required to submitt the same.

02 August 2011 No. He is not required to. Declaration u/s 274(1)(g) is to be filed for the purpose of re-appointment. If he has resigned, where is the question of re-appointment and also the declaration?
