31 March 2015 Person A is an NRI, his father died last year.

Now he wants to transfer all the deposits (FD) which is in the name of his father as well as of his mother, which is in India (NRO) to his NRE account.

Whether we should calculate tax on such transfer ? What rate if yes ?

Experts please guide me in this regard ...

31 March 2015 on transfer there is no tax as there is no "income" as per income tax act defintion.

31 March 2015 The remitter is deceased. Can any person ( e.g. daughter) sign the 15 CA Verification ? or is it should be the person authorized ?
