I received messg on my mobile' for A.Y2012-13 intimation U/s 143(1) will be sent on ur email id'on 21.03.2013??
I dont received any email from cpc yet..??
Wht should i do? intimation U/S 143(1) is it penalty???

09 April 2013 No its not a penalty

its just a intimation that your returned has been processed by the income tax department and it includes computation & Tax liability according to them.

09 April 2013 Don't worry it is not the penalty or demand notice. It is just the intimation regarding how the CPC has completed your return process and how it computed your tax liability and how it considered your tax credits and how it is difference with the tax computation by us at the time of filing of return. However it also contain is any tax payable due by you or any demand to you based on the tax computation by the CPC with reference to that if you have found any discrpencies with the CPC process and differ to your computation then you can file 154(1) rectification to correct the mistakes either by committed by you at the time of filing of return or by CPC at their process.

So don't worry however you can re-get it by placing request to re-send 143(1) intimation. You can place your request at www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in after login into your account at the Requests option you can place it.
