15 May 2013 I am now currently doing my articleship & i have completed 11 months of my tenure. I want to take a transfer from my old firm & i dont comply with any of the transfer rules of articleship. Can i still take a transfer, even if my employer is not allowing me? If so should i have to take any permission from ICAI or my employer?? Please help me with the entire transfer procedure of articleship..

employer permission is enough and it is necessary to take transfer of article ship,

take form 109 and get it signed by your principal and submit this to icai with in 30 days along with the id card obtained under previous employer,

and can join with other employer.procedure to join with him is as same as before

15 May 2013 Thanks a lot..!! But I want to ask 1 more thing that if my current employer doesn't give me the permission then what should i do..?? Can i bring this to light to ICAI..?? Any further options?? Please help..!!

15 May 2013 IT is not at all recommended to get into a fight with employer..

Institute may not interfere in any dispute between u and ur employer in this regard, it can be settled mutually,

and it is not possible to take transfer without principal permission..

think and say some strong reason for which ur employer cannot say no
