08 July 2011 my company has given contract for interior decoration of office which is about 3500sq feet and vendor has submitted invoice which contains vat & service tax(on full invoice amount).please let me know %of TDS applicable on invoice
what should be the TDS 194c or 194J

For Interior decorator, TDS u/s 194J is applicable. So you deduct TDS @ 10 % on the gross bill.
