iec code for importing for proprietorship firm

05 July 2019 I am planning to buy a mini CNC machine to be used occasionally in making small components in my proprietorship company . Is it necessary to get IEC code for importing the machine costing less than 1,00,000? It is doubtful that other than this I will import . I have GST registration.

09 July 2019 For any Import or Export IEC is required.If you want to import for your Business purpose you should have IEC of your Partnership name.
