My query is on dissolution of huf the property divided n share given to co arcener. Now is stamp duty chargeablen 1% metro cess to be paid in Mumbai for same?

Stamp duty is chargeable when a formal partition deed is executed, 2% in Maharashtra. However, if a family settlement is utilized instead, no stamp duty applies.

It is immovable property hence family settlement will not work i feel?

Depends upon your requirement...
If property wished to be sold in near future it will work. Otherwise go for registered partition deed.
