What will be the meaning of salary while calculating H.R.A? and if given arrers of salary nd Arrers of D.A then what would be the correct meaning of salary?
plz give full details on about arrers of salary in H.R.A...

06 February 2014 HRA is to be calculated on current salary. If your are receiving arrear salary the while taking the benefit u/s 89 you can adjust the same against the HRA of that year and nor for current year.

Salary shall be basic, DA plus all benefits included for retirement benefits.
