Please tell me the detail processor of excise, how can learn the excise in detail what is role of ( PLA ) accounts in excise and which statuory books maintain for the same. I will be highly oblige.

09 May 2012 PLA: Personal Ledger Account is like a passbook to be maintained by the manufacture by making entries of deposited amount for excise duty and debit entries.

You get PLA register from statutory shop and also get other statutory for excise record.

For detail of excise u buy a Central Excise Law Manual book.
